MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must be POST certified or certifiable

Competitive pay and benefits
- 5 year step program to reach top pay - previous years of police experience count at a 1 to 1 ratio; detentions/jail experience count at a 2 to 1 ratio
- $2,500 yearly incentive for officers with a bachelor's degree, sunsets upon reaching top pay
- Up to 432 hours of PTO (depending on experience)
- 88 holiday hours that can be used on any day, not just holidays
- Retirement FPPA
- All uniform and weapon systems supplied by the Department
- Mental Health and Wellness Programs for staff
